Derby College Fit-Out

Having been a key furniture supplier to Derby College for over ten years, in September 2009, Irongate Group was delighted to be appointed as a key supplier for the interior of the prestigious new college campus, The Roundhouse.

The stunning flagship site in the heart of Derby has 18,000 square meters of learning and teaching space and was part of a £48 million regeneration scheme. It was the most ambitious project in Derby College’s history – the pioneering transformation of the once derelict grade II building and the development of impressive new buildings which complemented the character of the original premises.

Irongate was tasked with designing the layouts and supplying and installing the furniture for many of the office and classroom areas as well as some communual areas within the four Roundhouse buildings.
