Open for Business

Following the announcement by our Prime Minister last night Irongate would like to confirm that we continue to be open for business and are here to help and support you.

We know you are aware of the impact that Coronavirus is causing and are probably exhausted by all the information coming your way. This is an unsettling time for everyone, and we don’t want to add to the overload. That said, we do want to let you know how we are handling things at Irongate.

The safety and wellbeing of our community is our highest priority and making the best decisions for our colleagues, customers and suppliers. At Irongate, we are continuing business as usual. We have provision for all key business personnel to be able to work from home and are implementing changes in our operational shifts to ensure social distancing is adhered to

All drivers and engineers have been provided with hand sanitizer gel, anti-bacterial wipes, no-water hand cleaner, and disposable rubber gloves. Guidance notes on hygiene and on-site, delivery or servicing protocol have been issued.

We have worked closely with our manufacturers and supply chain partners to understand their contingency plans; with our core suppliers increasing their stockholding on key product lines. As Irongate is a key customer for the majority of its suppliers, we are well-positioned to ensure appropriate allocation of goods should a shortage in supply arise, though in the event that we do face disruption in the supply chain we aim to offer alternative products from alternative suppliers in order to fulfil orders as soon as possible.

Above all, the aim of the Board and the Incident Management Team within Irongate is to ensure we can operate as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible.

As we know, things are changing daily at this time, and as such we are continuously reviewing the changes and communicate further if and when needed.

In these uncertain times we need to work together to become stronger than ever. Thank you for your co-operation, understanding and patience.

Let’s fight this together.

Kind regards,

Adam Noble
Managing Director
