Tis the season to be sniffly

The time has come where we swap the shorts and sunglasses for hats and scarves and warm light evening for cold dark ones.  This means we also swap the sun-cream and oils for colds and flu. The spread of cold and flu is the last thing you want coming into the office. Therefore, it is important to provide your staff with the right supplies to stay strong and healthy through the winter season.

Why is it important to prevent the spread of cold and flu?

Firstly, for the sake of your employees health. Your employees are the heart and soul of your business and let’s face it, you’d be nothing without them! So, keep their health at the top of your priorities! Crowded areas, such as the workplace, pose the greatest risk for spreading illness so it is important to keep these risks to a bare minimum.

A spread of cold and flu can resort to employees taking time off work and furthermore a decline in productivity. This isn’t good for your business, your sick employee or colleagues who must make up the time lost. So, fight against the spread of germs and viruses with some of our handy tips…

How to prevent the spread

1. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough

2. Wash your hands often with warm soapy water.

3. Keep sanitiser close by.
